Who we are

What we collect

When you send a booking request we collect:

• your name, phone number and email address
• the vehicle, dates, pick-up location and add-ons you ask for, and the estimated price
• anything else you choose to tell us
• if you rent: your signature on the rental agreement, and the vehicle’s condition, mileage and fuel level recorded with photos at pick-up and return
• a photo of your driver’s licence, which you attach to your request and which only our back office can see. It is used to verify that you can drive and is deleted 30 days after your rental ends

To protect the site from spam we briefly record your IP address with the time of your request. These records are deleted after one day. The chat assistant on this site answers from information already on the page; what you type into it is not sent to us or stored.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your request, confirm or decline the booking, contact you about it, and keep a record of the rental. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Our staff receive each booking request by email and WhatsApp. Some service providers handle data for us only to run the site:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the website and stores booking requests in its database, and may check requests for spam
• an email service, which sends our staff alerts and any confirmation email to you
• WhatsApp (Meta) or a WhatsApp messaging provider, which delivers alerts to our staff
• Google, which supplies the fonts and the map shown on this site and so sees your IP address when those load

How long we keep it

We keep a booking request while the booking is open. Requests that are completed or declined are deleted after 365 days. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Staff who sign in to the dashboard receive a login cookie that is needed to keep them signed in. Services such as Google Maps or spam checks may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us at denieltechnician@gmail.com. If you think we have handled your information wrongly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
